School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE)
The School offers B.Tech programme’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electronics and Computer Engineering, M.Tech programme’s in Embedded Systems, and VLSI Design, M.Tech (By Research) and PhD in all the areas of Electronics, Communication and Computer Engineering and allied fields.
The School has modern state-of-the-art laboratories in the areas of Semiconductor Devices and Nanotechnology, Analog Circuit Design, Digital System Design, Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems and Architecture, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Communication Engineering, Wireless Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Microwave and Optical Communication, Computer Networks and Advanced VLSI Design.
The School has the latest industry standard simulation tools (TCAD, Intellisuite®, Cadence®, Mentor Graphics, Tanner, Mapusoft RTOS, HFSS, ADS, Microwave studio, Netsim and RSoft) cater to various circuit branch simulation specializations, and is equipped with facilities for synthesis, characterization and measurement of experimental and theoretical results.
The state-of-the-art “Microwave and Antenna Measurement” lab has been successfully offering professional test services that involves the antenna characterization in the Anechoic chamber. The anechoic is fully automated and fully shielded chamber ranging in frequency from 600 MHz to 1800 GHz dedicated for the RF Measurements.
The School has won “The Best School Award and the Best Faculty Award-2014-15”. Also won “the Best out-going student award — both male and female in 2015”.The School was also crowned with the trophy “Champions-GuruVITa-2019” as part of Teachers day celebrations in 2019.
